My organising services in Sheffield and the surrounding areas will help you explore your relationship with the things you own to figure out what you need to keep and where these things should go. Our Mission
At Nik & Span Declutter Services, our mission is to help you create a stress-free, clutter-free, and organised home that you will love coming back to each day. As days blend into weeks and weeks into months, the paperwork can pile up, the kitchen looses its functionality, cupboards become chaotic, making leaving the house a time-consuming ordeal, followed by the frustration of not being able to find anything with ease. we are here to help you take your space back.

What we do best

Paperwork & Office Management

Having a disorganised office can feel overwhelming and make your mind feel like a computer with too many tabs open. By organising documents, having physical and digital filing systems in place and creating efficient work flows we can really help you maximise productivity, reduce stress and save time.

Wardrobe Decluttering

We focus on organising clothing and accessories, looking at what to keep, sell and donate. We will show you how to hang, fold and organise to maximise the use of your space however big or small. We aim for you to get the best out of the clothes you own, and for you to get ready each day feeling positive for the day ahead.

Little Areas, Big Wins

We all have those little areas that collect clutter whether its a pile of papers or a messy junk drawer these little areas can eat away at time when it comes to finding something you need. Decluttering these small areas and putting systems in place creates big wins. No job is too big or too small so if it's a small area you need help with please let us know.

Has your home overflown into your outdoor space? Looking to get your garden ready for the summer? Decluttering outdoor storage will help you enjoy your outdoor space more this summer, get easy access to all the things you need.

If you are lucky enough to have a playroom, we can show you how to make the best of it. Utilising the space to store all the toys and games and still have space to play. We can help you decide what to keep, sell and donate. Look at rotating toys to keep them interesting and easy to access.

Kitchen

The kitchen is the hub of any home. Its easy for this space to become disfunctional but if you get it right it sets the tone for the rest of the home. A well organised kitchen can really save you time and money on a daily basis.


Home Staging

Looking to sell your home? Our home styling service will focus on showing your home in the best possible light to potential buyers. When preparing to put your house on the market de-cluttering should be top of the to do list. We look at getting potential buyers to buy into the life and space you have making your home look its best and viewing ready.

Office or Home Move

Having moved 33 times, I am an expert in all things packing and unpacking and love helping reduce the stress of moving so you can focus on the excitement of a new beginning. We can help you look at what you want to move, look at the best way to pack and transport. We can then help you unpack and organise to get the best out of your new space.

Life Events

Sometimes life throws us some extra challenges where we need a little extra help. Moving to Residential Care, Decluttering after a bereavement, Baby Prepping, Empty Nest Downsizing to name but a few things that we can help with. We realise that everyone's reason for decluttering is different which is why we offer a personal one to one service.

30 minute initial assessment

We like to start the process getting to know you better, we begin with a comprehensive consultation to understand your decluttering goals, lifestyle, and specific requirements. I will ask you about the area that needs organising, your household and daily routines so I can get a sense of how you use the space you have now, identifying areas that need attention and discussing your vision for a decluttered environment. Tip one – Don’t worry about tidying up prior since messes leave clues to what may or may not be working in a space.

Lets make a plan

Based on the consultation, we will develop a personalised decluttering plan tailored to your needs and timescales. We will review the plan together to ensure the plan we create works for you and is sustainable. We prioritise areas of focus, set achievable goals, and establish a timeline for implementation. Once you are happy we will take a 20% deposit and book in your first Decluttering session.

Hands on Help

We will arrive fully equipped and ready and raring to execute the plan. We work methodically, sorting through items, categorising them, and guiding you in decision-making to determine what to keep, donate, or discard. De cluttering is a very personal thing to do so there is no rush or pressure to part with anything you don't want to. We always tackle decluttering with a non judgemental and compassionate attitude. If you want to we can find help to look at the reasons behind the clutter and help you get on top of it long term.

Storage Evaluation

Once clutter is cleared, we implement efficient organisation systems to maximise your space and functionality. We will advise how best to use the storage you have available and give advice on additional storage solutions if required. We believe in creating spaces that are not only clutter-free but also visually appealing and inviting. We will add final touches, arranging items thoughtfully, and incorporating design elements to enhance the overall look and feel of your space. Ultimately we want you to have a space that is organised, functional but most importantly a space that you love.

The Takeaway

We are keen for you to enjoy your new decluttered spaces as soon as possible so we will take away a cars worth of unwanted items free of charge so you can sit and relax and enjoy your new space. For larger items we will advise on local amenities and advise on the best ways to sell and donate.

Follow up and Support

Our commitment doesn't end with the completion of the project. We provide ongoing support and guidance to help you maintain a clutter-free environment. Whether you need additional organisation tips or periodic maintenance sessions, we're here to support you every step of the way.

Hourly Rate

  • Here at Nik & Span we like to keep the pricing simple, all our decluttering and organising services are all charged as follows
  • 30 minute free video consultation
  • £30 / Hour, Monday to Friday,
  • £40 / Hour Saturday and Sunday
  • Our Move Management Service includes a free 1 Hour in person consultation, followed by a personalised service and package tailored to meet your needs. Prices for this service are available on request.
  • Travel will be included into the hourly rate within a 20 mile radius of S3, In accordance with the HMRC mileage rates travel will be charged at 55p a mile after that.

  • 30 minute free video consultation
  • 8 hours of organising / decluttering
  • Organise the space after decluttering
  • Take away 1 car load of unwanted items
  • Discussion on local amenities and advise on the best ways to sell and donate

  • £220 - Monday to Friday
  • £300 - Saturday & Sunday

Hi, I'm Nikki, founder and lead organiser at Nik & Span Decluttering Services.

I help people create calm, organised homes by reducing clutter, simplifying spaces, and putting practical systems in place that make everyday life easier.

My passion for organising began long before I started my business. Even as a child, I loved creating order and seeing the positive impact a tidy, organised space could have on the people around me. Over the years, that natural ability has grown into a career dedicated to helping others transform their homes and lives.  With over 15 years of experience in organising and administration, I understand how valuable time, space and peace of mind are. 

An organised home isn't just about appearances – it's about creating an environment that feels calmer, functions better, and allows you to focus on the things that matter most.

Life experience has played a huge role in shaping the services I offer today. After spending a year travelling and living in a campervan, I gained a real appreciation for making the most of small spaces and living with only the things that truly add value to your life. It taught me that less clutter often leads to more clarity, freedom and happiness.

Moving home can be one of life's most stressful experiences, and it's an area where I can offer genuine expertise.  Having moved house 33 times myself, I know first-hand the challenges that come with packing, unpacking and settling into a new space. That's why I provide practical, hands-on support to help make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible.
